This is a picture of a tree in front of the National Gallery of Victoria, having different colours on it, due to different lamps being focussed on it. I thought it provides some vivid colour combinations in the darkness of a winter night.
I have never been a night time shutter bug, but last night was exceptional, it did help to note that I have a day off from work today. These pictures may be the last to be taken on the Southbank standing on the Flinders St bridge, I just read in The Age that such shooting such photos have been banned now. I hope none approaches me to delete these pics from here. Read related article here.
I like this photo, but could not avoid the sliver of street light at the bottom right hand corner !! This is a view of the Flinders Street station at the edge of the Yarra river, with the Rialto towers in the background.
